Preparations
The tuberous roots of Clavillia are taken in the form of a tincture, infusion (tea), and in capsules. Clavillia is traditionally taken as an infusion at a suggested dosage of half a cup, 2 times daily.
To prepare the infusion, place 1 tsp. of the powdered roots in a tea ball or gauze bag and allow the powder to steep in 8 oz. of freshly boiled hot water in a covered pot for 1015 minutes. Pour the infusion through a fine strainer to remove any sediment and allow it to cool for a time before drinking. Refrigerate unused portions in a well sealed container.
