Ubos (Spondias mombin) leaves – 32 oz. (1 kg.) bulk powder. 

Preparations

The leaves of Ubos are taken in the form of a tincture, infusion (tea), and in capsules. Traditionally, the leaves are taken in the form of an infusion at a suggested dosage of 1 cup, 2 to 3 times daily. 

To prepare an infusion of Ubos, place 1 tsp. of the powdered leaves in a tea ball or gauze bag and allow the powder to steep in 5 oz. (150 mL) of freshly boiled hot water in a covered ceramic pot for 10–15 minutes. Pour the infusion through a fine strainer to remove any sediment and allow it to cool for a time before drinking. Refrigerate unused portions in a well-sealed container.
