Adjusting Serving Sizes for Children
Guide to adjusting dosage for children according to Clark’s Rule based on weight:
1. Divide your child’s weight in pounds by 150 (average adult’s weight)
2. Yields approximate fraction of the recommended adult dose as suggested on bottle label
Example
30 lb. child
Divide 30 by 150 = .20 or 20%
Use 20% of the adult dose
Dosage on bottle: 50 to 70 drops
Formula: 20% of 50 drops (50 x .20) equals 10 drops
